Seat cowel

Right, this is going to sound silly, but how do you get the seat cowel off? I know you use the key, but when the back lifts off the front part next to the seat does come away. I can see in but it looks like it's bolted down :s

Turn key, lift up and slide back, simples lol

Hhhhmmmmm.... Sure I've tried that, but I shall try again.

Just tried it again, I'm pulling the bike backwards trying to get this rear seat cowl off!

No way you should be pulling backwards... Lift up from the keyhole end and it opens like a flap.
