Morning all, Just thought i'd share something with you guys.

2 weeks ago (Tuesday 20th October) a good friend of mine passed away in a motorcycle accident after a car pulled out on him.
can read about it here - http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/biker-killed-aston-crash-named-10308075

Some of you may have already known about it and attended our memorial ride on Sunday 25th October (which I helped marshall with the help of West Midlands Motorcycle Police) you can read about here http://birminghameastside.com/2015/...on-in-memory-of-fellow-rider-taylor-anderson/ we got around 200 bikers to come out (at really short notice which is epic) and support the family.

Alot of people know about the Bassetts pole meets on Tuesday, which my friend was riding back from, which is usually packed in the summer months but has thinned out as winter and darker nights have come. On the way back my mate binned his S1K after clipping an Aprilia dorsoduro

then another guy flipped his Super Mottard during a wheelie. All 3 riders are alright with minor injuries but it seems alot of people are finding it hard to adapt to the change in surfaces due to seasonal changes and during this month alone ive heard of 9 crashes (1 fatality).

So everyone ride safe please, as it seems traction control can only help out so much, and car drivers seem to be blind these days.

Also, if anyone wishes to contribute to the fund for my good friend you can do so here https://www.gofundme.com/5n6zmvcc it goes towards his funeral costs. As you can imagine his Mother would not have made allowances for a funeral for a 22y/o

Really sorry for the loss of your friend. My thoughts with you and your friends family RIP

Never good to hear of someone losing their life all too early. Condolences to the family.

Hi. Really sorry to hear about the loss of a friend. Never an easy thing to deal with.
Not wanting to detract from my condolences but in your post you put about clipping another bike and during a wheelie being cause of crashes. These are nothing to do with changing conditions. This is also not in any way implying anything about the accident that took your friend. Ride safe
