r & g bar ends

Hi all,

I bought a set of R & G bits recently, some rear bobbins, crash bungs ( not fitted them yet ) and a set of nice bar ends. The bar ends pack definitely says S1000RR 2015- but the thread on them is very narrow compared the monster bolt holding the existing ones in. Having never had one of these bikes before, i don't know if the bar is different/wrong, or the bar ends are incorrect. Having bought them over t'internet it's not easy to swap them out quickly.

Any info welcomed.

I have the R&G bar ends. The originals bolt directly into the handlebars, the R&Gs use those expanding plug thingies, so it looks like you're all good to go. You'll need a T55 bit to get the originals off.

Nicely - I was a bit worried about tightening the r&g's up to fit. I've got the big torx bit.

Thanks for the advice - i feel 1/2 hour in the garage coming on...
