Lovely weather here at Portimao, really enjoying the track.

Trying out a new bike.

Gazillion of people here and few red flags in fast group.

+1, so you finally got the Ducati [emoji6]

How are you finding the bike thus far? How does it compare to your Gen 4 RR?

Glad you?re having a great time [emoji41]

It's a different beast, power delivery is completely different, really needs to be revved.

It's heavier.

Can't say it's faster than BM yet tho.

how did yo get on? and how does it feel compared to the bm

so-so, had some issues with suspension.
JHP racing who prepared the bike, forgot to install a softer rear spring (90 vs. OE 105).
The front would violently shake past 220kph as you out of turn 15, even if I push on pegs. Around 250kph its becoming very unstable.
I tried few things with preload to load the front, but didnt really help. Should have just raised the front a bit, but OE fairings are nightmare to remove.

otherwise its an excellent bike. its heavier but as flickable as BM.

I'm missing few bits from BM, mainly electronics like dash with splits.

I will sort the suspension out and take it to Misano in June.

dont you have an aim solo dl? you can just get the lead for the ecu to give you the info, although i thought the panni had all that in it's system already,or is that just the "r"? (not really up on them that well)

I borrowed DDA that is datalogger so have all that.

I just got used to Motec dash on BM, with real time splits and proper gear change lights.

One thing for sure with Duc, it is demanding. Throttle must be very smooth and consistent.

It sounds amazing :)
