Hi all.

Just thought I'd join the UK rr forum for local advice.

I'm pit crew for the current British F1 sidecar champions, who have this year started using S1000RR engines to power the outfit. Some of you may well of seen us as we are one of the supporting races at most of the BSB races.

Here is the teams website, the promo video is well worth a watch

If anyone is at any of the BSB races come and find us in the paddock and I'll give you a guided tour of the bike.

Cheers,

Nige.

Thanks guys, am starting to pick up bits and bobs of useful info about these motors so hopefully will be able to put a bit back your way too :D

Welcome, good to see an outfit using this engine.

Question for you, as a sidecar I guess you are not using the OEM exhaust and the one you have made doenst have a CAT. So what have you done with regards fuelling, if anything? If so what way have you gone, remap the ECU, Bazzaz or PCV?

Hope you don't mind me butting in here. We had an exhaust system made by AMR exhausts http://amrexhausts.co.uk/index.html and you are correct it dosent have a CAT or the sensors. Just plugged a PCV in and took it to the guys at Dynotec who ran it on their dyno and set the fueling. When we get this "Mode" selection problem sorted maybe we will then junk the PCV and then have the ECU remaped?

The fuelling isn't too bad at momo, the Power Commander takes care of that. That said it is pretty much maxed out in places due to the standard fuelling being so far out.
