Hi everyone, just thought I would introduce myself, before I start hijacking anyone's posts.
I have been looking for a S1000RR for the past few months, and took delivery of my motorsport coloured, 2013 model this morning. It is exactly what I had been looking for. I test drove a brand new one a couple of weeks ago and decided that I needed one in my life. I had viewed a few bikes recently and if I am honest, they were a bit rough, heavily stone chipped and not as well looked after as I would have wanted.
The one I bought has been very well looked after and has a few modifications that I would have done myself if they hadn't been done. Akarapovic exhaust, tail tidy, crash bungs, tinted tall screen and a few carbon bits. I am just gutted that I am stuck in work today and not out riding it. I can't wait to get finished.
I haven't had a bike for a few years, since I got rid of my CBR600RR in 2011 when my other half fell pregnant. Now that money isn't so tight, I decided that it was time for me to get some toys again. I just hope that I haven't bitten off more than I can chew with this bike.
