Wanted to introduce myself and say hello! I?m in for my first ever S1000rr, it?s a 1 owner 14 plate and I?m really pleased with it! Shame I?ve not got the weather to ride it!!

Hi oli, I?ve been riding 17 years now, been through quite a few bikes, mostly Ducati over the years which I?m still a massive fan of, but it?s just the upkeep has started to grind me down! Here is a few of my previous bikes...

So as you can see I?ve been through a few! I?m expecting good things for the bmw!

What's your view on your blades...my RR9 so far was the best all round bike i've owned... just a bit to easy too ride, that's why I sold mine... that engine was just incredible and brakes were right on the money.

I?d probably have to agree mate, I found the fireblades amazing all round bikes, I?ve not ridden the s1000 yet but out of all my bikes I was most happy and fastest on a blade, and in fairness I?d say the 09 was better than the 12 plate!
