Moving to something a bit lighter

Hi there! I've just joined as I look for an s1000rr with the aim of becoming someone who can complete a lap of some circuits without falling off.

I have a K1300S at the moment, so the S seems the logical way to go. I also have ridden it to help make that decision.

I'm now hoping to stay sensible and within a reasonable budget acquire something suitable for track fun.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I am a big fan of the K bikes. Had 2 K13Rs and just chopped in my K13S for the new rr. Very different beasts in many ways and lots of fun. Enjoy.

Owning a 17 s1000rr I'd recommend spending a year or 2 on a sv650. You cant hide lack of pace with power between corners. You learn so much so fast
