Went to the Gulf Bike Week Exhibition in Dubai today.

The show was ******* but I did get to see a standard HP4. It's stunning. I'm proper pissed I can't afford one.

It's the paint job that makes it :), looks very nice but I don't think I'll be going for one, just too much of a depreciation hit to take again for the amount I used my bike last year. Will wait a year to see what 2014 brings.

Absolutely. I was sceptical at best about the colour-scheme but in the flesh it's awesome. Can't praise it enough.

Still not sure why they can't fit the race dash on there. It's an option for the K1300S it should also be for the S1000RR.

Nice pics Moz , least ya got some winter sunshine
Nothing else of interest at the show then ?

Nah. The show was tiny and was only a dealer supported do, not manufacturer supported. The Dubai Beemer dealer said this was the first HP4 released by the factory to a dealer therefore the first in the world (he claimed) to be in a dealers hands (rather than Beemer's). There was the Middle Eastern Superbike champion's S1R there too (the rider was on the stand but I'd never heard of him) but other than that it was a waste of time and money. I spent the sum total of 45 mins there before I'd seen it all!!

Did you fly all the way there just for the show or did it coincide with work

Nah, just coincided with me being here anyway.

Has that got carbon engine cases? And are these coming with those on? Does look the tits! That's it I'm buying lol seeeee yah!

Yes according to motorrad Dubai the standard HP is supplied with the carbon cases.

It looks like any 2012 with a trick paint job,im deffo not getting one ill wait another year or two to see what bike i get next, but if the v4 fireblade does come out ill be going for that ;)

Bet of luck with that.

I'm guessing the V4 RCV for the road will be a minimum of £40k and maybe even £60k.

Honda know there are people out there who could afford that.

I agree with Ducky it is the paint that makes it stand out... I know it has plenty of bells and whistles too, but she sure does look nice.... COME ON NUMBER 7.... or what ever they say at a roulette table lol....

plus if its like the pics I've seen,it doesn't look very nice. But that could all change. But the price is nuts lol but like you say,Honda knew they will sell them.
