Not sure how you get to that conclusion.V4R is 30k and overall much better bike
Not sure how you get to that conclusion.
The V4R is at least a road bike, yes, but its not better than the HP4 Race on track.

I?ll take two.... lol but 50k is still a lot of money.
sure it will be superceeded at some point
Not sure any Ducati has ever hit the quoted power figures.V4R is more powerful and shorter, hence more flickable. Pretty sure 10k more will make it way much better bike than HP4 race.
I wouldnt never buy 50k 2017 bike in 2020, thats just insane. Its not a collectors item either, its useless outside of track.

HP4 race a track oriented motorbike has 0 success in winning races. Luca Salvadori had some limited luck on it, until he trashed fragile carbon fiber frame. He is racing gen4 with m rck this year, if he is faster on gen4, that would be such a blow to hp4 race.Much better hahaha what a silly comment
Agree hereThe HP4 Race isnt eligible to race.
It costs too much and has no road variant.
Its a tech demonstrator.
V4R is probably sold at a loss to make it eligible to race, such is Ducati's desperation to beat Rea.

Yes it's called M RCK, you need new ECU.Is the rck available for the gen 4 now, I thought it wasnt?

Yes that was my point. Say for 40k you get Gen4 STK build, which altho doesn't have carbon frame is probably overall much better package. The extra bling of hp4 race is carbon fiber frame and better suspension I guess.but you would spend ?35k+ just turning your bmw into a s/stock bike,an extra 15k for the extra "bling" doesn't look that bad in comparison (certainly in the eyes of the people that can actually afford to pay 50k for a "toy"),christ,my bike cost bet part of 60k to build originally, only real difference would be crash damage, dont really fancy buying a new carbon frame if that gets damaged on the hp4.
As for the v4r being a better bike,at out general level, thats purely down to rider, nothing else.
Interestingplus,my m8 is selling 1 if you want an even cheaper 1
