HP4/Gen 2

I've decided I'm going to convert my HP4 for track use so on the look out for the following.

1. Protection stuff
2. Potentiometer
3. Lifters for my lightecs
4. Fairing assy...Fairingmaster looks good enough for the money asked..
5. Gas Cap

Anything else track related for Gen 2/HP4

What brakes does it have? M4s? If it's standard gen2 calipers, I would change them to M4s at least.

Regarding pots, they very rare to be found on second hand market and usually go for same price as new anyway. As alternative, worth having a look around for a cartridge kit.

HP4 came with M4 calipers as standard.

M4s as Soof says BBB.. those RC pads I had in the ZX were brilliant, as usual first corner feel was a little wooden till you got heat into them..beyond that they were very predictable which I liked, a handful would easily lock up the wheel... a decent pad for just under 100 quid. Your quite correct on the Potentionmeter, seen a few around the 250/280 plus, probs just buy new and try that for now.
