Picked up an s1000 last weekend from wales and road it back in the rain, and loved every minute :) hopefully see some of you about some time

tried it... shat myself... then left it in RAIN made rest of way home:kiwi-fruit: (used to a T595 witch is a tad slower...)

yeh hope to use it all year round until Jack Frost appears (then i'll use me triumph ;) ) speaking of which I'm gonna get some heated grips has anyone used them Roxter ones ? are they any good or shall I just shell out a bit more dosh and get the Oxford ones?

I manage without on the S1000 (2010) but on my Tiger 1050 I have the Triumph ones, not as good as they should be. Honda heated grips were far superior..
Sorry I dont know about Roxter ones.
 
I have the latest inteligent Oxford heated grips on my Triumph 1050 GT and they are better than the BMW ones on my 2012 S1000RR you can get them cheap if you shop around payed £49 for the last set i purchased from mega motorcycle superstore in swindon

plumbed for the oxford commuter heated grips in the end as that's what I've got on me T595 and they're Ok with the two settings will fit em next week
