Gearbox jumping out of 6th

My luck continues. My 2013 Hp4 is now jumping out of 6th gear. It's not the QS as even if I clutch it up to 6th while poodling along it stays in gear for a few seconds then spits it back to 5th or 4th.
Also last couple of times on track I was getting the odd false neutral dropping into 2nd.

I'm going to get a 2nd hand gearbox as I can't afford the prices BMW are asking for spare gearbox parts. What years of gearbox will fit my bike?
I've got Donny tomorrow so just need to make sure I don't change up to 6th.

Get in contact with Phil Crowe he usually has the parts ready to go and knows about the gearbox problems

Maybe so - but he may give you some advice

I think any 2nd gen gearbox will be fine on your bike Bruce, and most likely 1st gen also but I'd play safe and stick with 2nd.

I had my eye on a clean 2nd hand box local but I've got the chance of getting Nova box which might be worth the extra expense.
What's the deal with the uprated detent spring, is it worth getting that as well for a gen 2?
