Factory Alarm - 2014 Model

Does anyone have a user guide for the bloody alarm system. Manual doesn't give very much away, seems sometimes I set it it makes a sound and other times lights just flash, turning off well thats another challenge seems only when i put key ignition works, cannot turn it off with fob.

Im usually okay with electronics but cannot get the bloody thing to be consistent.
