Transporter T5, Bought as a shed panel van with loads tha needed sorting (some still does)
I have put a removable bench seat in the back and changed the V5 to reflect this.
Floor, insulations ans carpeted walls and roof.
Range Rover 19 inch rims
Lowered a tad.

Still have some bodywork and bumpers to colour code.

It will never be a minter but it is really good for the bike/dogs/kids etc.....

Looks pretty cool fella - personally, im renting vans this season for all my track days as ive got a friend with a van hire company and he's giving me mates rates - but i would prefer my own set up again and ive always liked a cool van!!

I am in a village between Sleaford and Horncastle and my next track day is Donnington 5 April. Might ride there though as its pretty close.

Can't afford a van. Keep my bikes clean when I trailer them....

Nice, always fancied a T5 or something but can't warrant a van just for TD's, so I just have an old bike trailer I use for carrying the bike or I rent a van.

I sort if justified the cost and hassle as its great for kids MTB,s dogs can leap in covered in ***** and kids can get in with footy boots on. In fact I don't think I will go back to a car it's just too useful. I've moved kitchens, model railways (don't ask) its a great tool.

Agree a van is very handy, I sold my Astravan recently as I didn't use it so often these days.

I had a Vivaro last year for my track bike and it was a total pain in the arse from a reliability point of view - it was fairly old admittedly (05 plate) with 95k on clcok but full main dealer service history with all major items replaced - but still endless niggles and issues. I would have thought the VW would be better on the reliability front?

Looked at so many, ended up buying a good ol dagenham donkey. VW good but too much for my budget, vivaros too much hasle and mercs seem to be all abused lol.

Exactly my reasoning behind paying slightly more to get the VW. Thing with dubs is that you can recoup some of the money back that you put in. I could even fit camper internals and a pop top then ask 12K ! Not my plan though, this will be in the family for a while now. If i decide I really need a car the van will be sorned and I will buy a cheap car as well.
