On the 14's the manual says neutral or closed throttle, no brakes

Yeah i think baisically you can't be accelerating, just coasting when you change modes. Just leave the bike in race or slick! Haha

picked mine up today 14 model and asked that question before riding away and the answer was throttle off choose mode and clutch in job done.
