Guys don?t pick my 18 rr up until next week does anyone know if it?s straightforward to remove the cat I am planning on getting it sprayed Matt black to blend in with the fairing.

Mash. If you wanna kick some ideas around, lemme know.
I leave my exhaust system on grounds of cost and Brands noise limits, but it's starting to look really sh*te, compared to the "a little bit sh*te" when I bought it.
Comparing with a stove flue that's been badly painted, I can imagine it's possible to make it look worse as well;
Add in grime, water and salt and I suspect the choice of paint system to get an even finish to stick will not be straight forward.
The attached image (edited of my bike when dirty) shows what I think it could look like. I know the belly pan fans will spit, but it's better than rust coloured, I reckon.

Question: Is it worth the hassle of cleaning, masking, priming, spraying in case it doesn't work and then has to be scrubbed off...

Some valid points guys I am thinking of taking it to dream machine to see what they think the bonus being its round the corner from where i pick my bike up.The other option is a belly pan extender but they are around ?140.

I agree it looks *****.... when I decated mine it was a while back, so wasn?t that many options. I had a link manufactured and put the Akra gp on, great sound but loud. I think there are cover options out there now

Dream machine are good but slow. Its taken them maybe a month to spray a pillion seat cowl for me. Two weeks to not get a colour match from Pidcock and not tell me, Then brought in a side panel for them to match to and the a fortnight to spray and lacquer. Im in no hurry but if that was your cat a) can they do heat resistant paint and b) thats a fair bit of time with your bike in bits

True Bertie it may come down to the belly pan extention has anyone had one of these on there 2017.Either that or put up with the ugly cat.
