My bike is a 2015 model with the forged HP wheels. I want to get hold of a spare set of wheels, if I find forged at the right price - no problem. However that's not looking likely. So picking up a set of OEM / cast wheels is most likely.
Having done a bit of research I am fairly certain I need to do the following:
Have I got any of this wrong?
REAR:
1) Find a cast wheel from any S1000RR or S1000R (any year)
2) Ensure I have a 'cast wheel' sprocket carrier, ABS ring and brake disc
3) Get hold of 2015 sized std (or aftermarket captive) spacers for rear wheel. Earlier spacers won't fit.
FRONT:
1) straight on, no matter what year S1000RR or S1000R it is from just make sure brake discs and ABS rings are from a cast wheel.
