Stuart, haven't had time to look at all this (50-mins long) but I'm gripped. Amazing really. I've been mulling why a very traditional configuration is so much better these days (and better than the benchmarked GSX-R) and it's presumably the sum of incrementally better improvements everywhere (like the Sky cycling team). Great stuff.

I ran out of time too, haha... I tabbed through it this morning, I love watching the machining of the crank, nitrogen cold pressing of valve seats and the liquid gasket application among others... superb !

So odd watching abike balance whilst stationary, spinning on the rollers. Understanding the physics doesn't make it less odd to see.

Please tell me the video show's the identity of the chap putting in my wiring harness....... Cuss I want to see him wearing it!

Thanks for sharing Stuart, I have just watched it all the way through (at work :biggrin-new:), amazed at the guy painting a pin stripe on a blue tank.
Excellent stuff.

I guess the film was from 2010- 2011?

Suspect this interesting S1R development vid (German language with Japanese subtitles) has been posted before but if not, here it is.
