Just wondered what they're like? Specifically the unit that does fuelling, TC & QS all in one.

Do they include an O2 eliminator like PCV does thus doing away with lambdas?

Does the QS cut the spark or the fuel? Is it fairly smooth (like an HM shifter) or jerky (like a PC QS)? How much adjustment is there in them?

How does the TC work if the bike you're fitting it to already has TC? Do they work in harmony or are you better off turning one system off and if so, which one?

Any other hints, tips or advice?

Cheers

I had a bazzaz system on a fireblade track bike, the system is easy to install and wires into the main harness through the standard plugs so no cutting and chopping wires. The first quickshifter i had did not work so had to return it looking on the net seems a common fault. the adjustability of the QS is goos as you can change the cut time for each gear unlike Hm which is one for all gears, although there is no sensitivity adjustment on the bazzaz. The bazzaz QS if fairy smooth once its set up well, if its not i gets the off false neutral.
The traction control was so smooth that i had to by the indication light to know it was kicking in, it is very adjustable but i would say not as good as the bm as it has no wheel speed sensors and no gyro to know what the bike is doing it works by the engine revs spiking compared to the throttle position and speed to trigger as at this point it thinks its lost traction.
The TC is adjustable by a bar switch which can be helpful dependant on which track you are on as i kept spinning the back wheel up at the melbourne look with it on a low setting...

I would not piggy back one on to the bmw as i dont think it would offer any benefit over the standard TC system.

Regrading the lambda sensors you can have them disconnected or you can buy a bazzaz add on that auto tunes as you ride the bike with a lambda sensor.I never used one of these but they seem to get a good write up.

I have been looking at a bazzaz system for my current track bike GSXR1000 K5 as it runs 192hp at the rear wheel and like to spin up out of tight corners!!! ive also been looking at stand alone tc units as i dont need the fuelling or TC, the GRIPONE system seems good but at more money than a bazzaz, but has wheel sensors.

If you have TC on your bike and the QS and want a better QS then i would just upgrade to a HM shifter.

Sorry forgot to mention the fuelling unit controls all 8 injectors without the need to buy a secondary unit like power commander. Another issue though is getting a dyno centre with BAZZAZ software to tune the bike as alot are Dynojet centres and dont know how to work the bazzaz kit.

Does the Bazzaz QS cut the spark or the fuel??

It's not for my BMW BTW.

It looks like it cuts the spark. there are some forums that claim the qs is the smoothest you can get? I know once i got mine set up it was good. the TC is very smooth.
