2016 2017 different rearset?

Just been to look at the 2017 and the exhaust now has the hanger from the rear peg or hanger rather than the front peg. Has anyone removed the standard exhaust loop from the hp rearsets? BMW quoted a new part number for the RHS but the same for the LHS.

I know on the stock '15 RHS rearset the exhaust loop isn't removable as it's all one piece....can't comment on the HP rearsets tho?? I spotted the new design on the '17 too and been scratching my head about how a "shorty" slip-on would work?? (nothing to secure it to on the '17 RHS rearset!??) .....hmmmmm i guess we'll have to wait to see what solution the 3rd parties come up with? Maybe there'll be a sudden demand for '15 RHS rearsets??

I believe hp do 2 different rearsets?

The loop on the HP rear set 15 is removable.. There is a spacer in the box that needs to be fitted when removing exhaust loop

Hi all, The RH 17 rearset is different only because it does not have the loop. There's nothing to stop you fitting the 15 to your 17 and then mounting a shorty exhaust if someone is doing one that will fit.
