GOOD NEWS: Version 5.1.1 of the BMW Motorrad Connected app is now available in the App Store (iOS) and claims to fix the bug. Was released late last night. Hopefully this will resolve the problem.

I've emailed BMW as well asking when fix can be expected. I first noticed the issue on 3 December, so it's nearly two months now, which is pretty poor tbh. If I receive any further info from BMW will post it here too.

Yep mine is doing the same. Have not found a fix for this either as yet

Thanks. Got the upgrade installed this week since bike had to go to dealer due to a !DDC error (still not fixed). ?350 fitted incl vat. Not too bad since BMW charge around ?325 for the software. now just need to get the DDC problem sorted...

Update: Another dealer has now quoted ?361 which was more in line with what I was expecting. Anyone got a lower quote?

Has anyone actually paid to have the ABS Pro upgrade? I asked my dealer about this and they quoted ?425, which was somewhat more than has been reported in the press. Seems rather a lot to me. Thoughts anyone?

Not really. they tweaked and refined the electronics for the ABS and DTC and the power curve (more midrange) and minor styling changes. I think most people who have ridden both prefer the '12 rrs. But there is not much in it. The original 2010 model was a more than competent bike! I expect there...

Hello everyone! I stumbled across this site in google so joined up. I have a 2012 S1000RR Sport in the Motorsport colours. Had the 2010 model before that. Up to 2010 I had Honda Fireblades, CBR600s etc. really love my S1000 though.
