Managed to free the cat pipe with a cold chisel, took the two cables off the cat end and also off the pulley under the seat. Longest job was putting it all back together, took the baffle out of stock pipe, it's definetly a lot louder, seems to run fine, all in all its a good mod.

Hi soofsayer yes took mine off this weekend, the hoses pull off from the inside of the belly pan leaving two stubby bits of hose in the bellypan.

Hi guys, those of you that have taken the cat off, I'm a bit stuck I can't seem to budge the joint where the cat pipe joins the header pipes. Did anybody use heat to free it off. Thanks.

I had a similar problem when I fitted my watsens, I ended up cutting the resistors off and that sorted it.

Hi Darren, the mechanic should have test ridden your bike after the service, if he did I'm sure he would have noticed anything wrong. If your not happy take it back and tell them.

Welcome sounds like you got a good low mileage bike there.

I fitted eazi grip to my last bike and had no problems, went on really easy.

The HP4 came with one on, I dont see why the S1 doesn't, the price of the bike it would cost BMW buttons to put one on. The dealers should put them on as a good will gesture.

Hello and welcome, there's quite a few of us coming off fire blades, saw a Marquez repsol one in my local dealers, looked nice but it had nothing new on it, Honda need to put some new toys on the blade and sort or change the ABS system.

if you look back on this thread you will see the guy from the states has some.

I've been trying for over 12 months, given up now. Pity because it is the best looking tail tidy.

The Sargent seat, feels different to the bm one, not ridden on it yet, will let you know how it feels after a few hundred miles.
