Now running one of these kit race ECUs on my F1 Sidecar, just wondered if anybody else is or has used it? looking for a few pointers regarding setting up. It is activated.

Has anybody had problems in not being able to get it out of "Rain" mode? A "Slick" mode plug was fitted and since then it has locked itself into Rain mode even if the Slick mode plug has been removed. Followed all the instructions in the manual.

I've just removed the sump from one of the engines that I'm going to race this year and found there is a pinprick hole in it where Magnisium has corroded through. There is a small heat shield bolted to the underside of the sump which collects dirt and grime, this makes a good corrosive cocktail...

Hello all. I'm new to this forum. I don't have 1000rr but I am using one of these engines in a Formula 1 Sidecar for this season in the British Championship alongside BSB. I thought it might be a good idea to pick people brains on tech issues etc. Hope that's OK. :)
