I find them spot on and as i've always had black tanks they blend in, there aren't any out for the pani yet so i am using stompgrips. It's a personal thing really but i prefer the tech spec stuff.

Is it Tech Spec tank pads you're thinking of ??, i use them.

I don't think they changed the tank on the '12 model, but even if they did , there is plenty of adjustment on the cover. I had one on mine quality bit of kit.

There is no better feeling tham waiting to pick up a new bike, apart from actually getting on it i suppose ::)
