Thanks folks. Had a bit of a sad moment as I waved the bike goodbye (yesterday, there was a delay in delivery). Now to wait for the fun moment to see how much it goes up on the dealer's website for :rolleyes:

Used to be a design feature on the Firestorm :jaded: Every weird noise made you wonder if it was about to go bang but it usually ran out of petrol before that could happen...

Given my experie3nce, I would recommend changing the cable fairly quickly! I know mine is Gen3 but there may have been a supply issue with cables?

Ok, no takers so have stuck these on Ebay. Have also put up the Bagster tank cover and radiator and Oil cooler guards (bought for the wrong model) Oh, and a screen for a 2010 Yamaha XJ6S if you know anyone looking for a rarity!

Following my earlier troubles with the quickshifter and clutch, I removed the Evotech levers from my 2018 Gen 3 to see if they were the problem. Having since found out it was a fraying (now snapped!) cable, I can't be bothered to put the levers back on so am offering them for sale here before...
