Hi, I was having problems with passing the noise level test at Castle Combe. 105db at 75% measured at 0.5 of a metre. The bike came in at 109db. Given that it is my local track all very frustrating. Then I had a chat with Mark Lumb at MADASL racing and he sorted it ! I will post pictures...

Hi I'm taking the S1000RR up to Castle Combe for a track day. Has anyone taken the bike there and passed the sound test ? I ve a BMW stock exhaust but need to know if it will pass. I think the test is 105db at 6500rpm but I'm not Sure... If you know it would help thanks

Hi just picked up the bike today AMAAAAAAAAAZZZZZIIING ! One question if I need to add oil during the first 600 miles running in is there a specific type or grade I should use. I have some Castrol Power Racing .... Any advice ? Thanks ;D And did anyone need to add oil before the 1st service?

Thinking of ordering the blaze saddle bags for the bike, standard exhaust system so should be ok. Anyone have these or used them? What do you think ? They look like a good piece of kit but ? Also anyone used the BMW oem tank bag is there a better (ie quicker alternative) the attachment bar looks...

Picking up BMW S1000RR next week, just loved the demo ride. Part exchanged Daytona 675R great bike but the ride position compared to the S1000RR no comparison, blown away by the power too!
