    Datatool

BikeTrac is the company I am going with now. They confirmed that their devices do not behave like Datatool devices and that the BikeTrac internal battery charges again upon reconnecting the vehicle battery.

    Datatool

Hi guys, I recently moved places and now live in a situation where I don't have a power outlet close to my motorcycle. Therefore, the battery comes out over the winter and gets connected to the tender inside. I contacted Datatool (factory installed GPS tracker on my S1000RR) and asked them...

S1000RR M Sport Right Fork Tube

Hi lads, selling right hand side fork tube. Someone pushed something into my bike and there are some scratches on the fork tube foot now but the fork tube is otherwise in perfect condition and undamaged. Lad who damaged it paid for a new fork tube and now I am trying to sell the damaged one and...

Hey man, sorry saw this message just now. I have brought it back to BMW and told them to fix it. I ended up getting new forks twice, but it?s fixed now. I would tell your dealer to **** off with that statement about using pro modes. Are they nuts? Haha

    ilimberger road belly pan

Yes I did.. and it didn't work with the full system belly pan which was another reason I swapped with the stock exhaust belly pan. The full system belly pan is only connected via 4 screws, two of which have no connection to the frame/engine whatsoever. I didn't trust that set up :)

    ilimberger road belly pan

Yes. Holes were actually all drilled correctly. It fits like a glove and looks great. The CAT holes actually look quite great with a full system... TI blue shining through. Furthermore, the belly pan for full system is missing one mounting point (center one that's not drilled where the long...

    ilimberger road belly pan

I bought the full system belly pan as well. Returned it as soon as I ran into the same issues you ran into and replaced it with the one for the stock exhaust. looks just as well and it fits perfectly

    ilimberger road belly pan

I am returning the street version for full systems. Out of all screw holes only one was drilled correctly.

    ilimberger road belly pan

Anyone else had issues with the size of the holes? Literally all of them are too small for the stock screws. Also.. the belly pan for full systems is not compatible with BMW rad guards... can throw them out now :(

    Damp sump plug area

I had the exact same issue with my bike. Turned out to be a faulty counter shaft seal.

    Front Fork Issue (Gen4 owners)

Yup... bring it back to your dealer and demand new forks. If they say no, then reject the bike as not fit for purpose.

    2020 S1000RR forks leaking

Haven?t heard of anything like that happening on the Gen4 before. If that?s the case I?d park the bike at the dealership you bought it from and tell them not to call until it?s fixed.

    Engine control unit failed...

More than likely emission control outside the specified parameters.

    Move to London

Lads, I am contemplating leaving Ireland for Camden, London.. What's the UK like from a bikers perspective? MOT, Police, Tax, Insurance, Roads, Noise regulations, aftermarket parts, FPN, etc etc?
