Do you just apply a thin bead of silicone gasket? Do you then put straight onto engine or do you leave it to go off a little 1st? Is it worth applying a little thread lock onto bolts. I have seen they are a really low torque setting

Hello all. Just took back wheel off bike and all bearings feel smooth. No roughness, just the feeling there still nice and greased. Only thing I can think is axel nut was not 100nm when I checked before taking wheel off. It was tight but not 100nm. At least I got to clean rear wheel and sprocket ?

I?ve ordered a 34mm socket for axel nut. I?ll take wheel off soon and see it the 3 bearings feel smooth

Could worn Cush drive rubbers allow wheel to have some movement. The wheel does not feel like free play metal to metal movement

I?ll have a look at bearing and Cush drive. Surprised anything worn at 3500 miles. 1st bike I?ve had to look at any of these. thank you all for input

I have had it on paddock stand and think I may feel some movement but doesn?t feel like play between metal as I would expect from bearing. Might just leave it and see if BMW pick anything up during service in next...

Hello all. Just had bike in for 1st MOT and got an advisory for rear wheel bearing. Bike only has 3500 miles. Is this normal? Any advise on what to buy as replacement and how to fit?

Hello all. Mine works wnd have hp levers fitted. Will doing Marcels tip stop anything working as feel like doing it to ensure never have a problem in future. Bikes a 2018 gen 3. Will auto blipper, cc, pit lane limiter and launch control still work. Not that I will ever use launch control.

Same happened to me when I fitted those bulbs. Had a feeling it might when fitting but continued anyway ☹. I got smaller led. Removed nose cone and shook till large led came out. All good now

Bike going into dealer for annual service. I fitted a AR slip on. Should I refit std BMW can or refit std can before taking in. Don't want BMW trying to use anything against me in future if I need to use warranty.

Thanks all for advise. I will take it in to be reset. Then get annual service in August and then I guess service light will be sync with actual yearly service again.

Hello all, Bought my bike last November from dealer. It's a 2018 bike new in April 18. 1st running in service done August at 1000 miles and today service due April was on dash. Service book says due Aug 19. Do I just need dash reminder reset or does it really need a service. Only got 1500 mile...

Returned Cree long bulbs and replaced with Cree T10 14smd led. Shorter. Fit is snug. brightness and lack of yellowness is incredible. Will fit 2nd bulb tomorrow. ��
