    Bloomin Birds!

Has anyone else taken a bird straight down the air intake? I took a chaffinch at ***mph yesterday and what a fecking mess! If you are unwilling to spend hours stripping the bike down it is a complete pain trying to clean the frame/intake as the design of it splits the bird in two! I used an...

    Alternative oil?

Magnatec/edge 5w 40? Can anyone see any reason why this oil would have any detrimental effect? Power1 5w 40 is harder to get hold of in 5litre form and very expensive. I will stick to oem filter.

    2012 bike replacement clutch lever

I need a clutch lever as mine is bent. I noticed that the 2010 bike has a different part number to a 2012 bike. Anyone know of a source for levers that won't fook up the clutch switch? (Hp are a bit pricey for me) Thanks

    Gopro Camera try out run

Made a vid of clips from today, its what I call Youtube friendly (if you know what I mean), so should avoid unwanted attention. I struggled with a good attachment point for the camera that didnt vibrate like a rampant rabbit, but the lower fairing area showing fork leg was ok. Its a borrowed...

    All owners advice please.

Do you have play in the rear sprocket/carrier? I am talking to bm now about my problem. Do the 2010 bikes suffer with this? I cannot believe that after a complete cx of rear end drive components there should be any play at all never mind the amount on mine. I can't remember any earlier model...

    Cushdrive/Sprocket carrier play?

Hi, Whilst changing out a rear tyre prior to a Cadwell trackday, I noticed that the play once the sprocket carrier is located in the wheel was probably about 3mm before the cush rubbers were engaging. Anyone noticed this? I have worked on plenty of bikes and even when the cush drive rubbers are...

    Greetings from Lincolnshire

Hello all, Just ordered a Red/White S1K and looking forward to getting to grips with it. I got a sense of what is on tap during the test ride and apart from the wheelie control (non Slick mode) that will take some getting used to I totally fell for it. I took a sabatical from sportsbikes (past...
