I've just spent well over 200 hours sorting my Gen 4 and thought I'd finished working on my BMW and then my mate sends me a 1920 piece Lego model of the M1000RR. Some peoples sense of humour eh... :neglected: Plus I've got my Gen 3 to put back to std and sell....

So after 220+ hours over winter I've finally finished my bike. Bear in mind it was already a great spec. Every nut and bolt except fairing fasteners are Titanium and even those fairing fasteners are polished. And before you ask, I will be riding the crap out of it till I'm too old to. J

Hi, It's amazing how much extra wiring the 6 Axis IMU (Inertial Measument Unit) needs. Given that there's very few added components mounted on the airbox, it's now buried under wiring compared to the Gen 3. J

it's interesting BMW now recommend inserting a blanking plate behind the Air Filter prior to removing the air filter. They must have had problems with debris getting in the airbox. J

Just looking for info on fitting the 2D potentiometer on a Gen 4. The normal left side looks pretty much impossible unless you rock the top of the radiator backwards. Looks possible on the right side in front of the fork. Anyone tried? Thanks, J
