    R&G rear sets, any good?

Just flicking through the daemon tweaks book, and wondered what people's thoughts on these were? DD

    Thinking about going all black,..

Fairing that is. Anyone done it, got any pictures? Would want to buy a second (damaged) fairing to paint (preferably 12 onwards) so that I can keep the MS colours mint should I ever want to go back DD

Help please with PC5 map ?!?

I wonder if any body can help with a base map for the PC5? Now I appreciate the advice is going to be to get it mapped properly, but I want to see what can be done with the autotune as I haven't fully answered my last question yet (thinking of downsizing) and if she's going to make her way to...

Giving thoughts to down sizing - opinions?

Hi all, it's been a while since I posted on here, although I do checking in frequently. The reason I've not been as active as I should have been is that life gets in the way and I just haven't been out on the bike at all, in fact in the last 12 months I reckon I've done just a hundred miles or...

    Insurance and modifications

So what's the deal here then, why are insurers so difficult about a few bolt on bits? The biggest issue seems to be the exhaust, but don't most bikes have them fitted these days? I'm currently on hold to one insurer because whilst you can add the value of modifications in the quote section -...

Ohlins shock springs... What are the numbers?

Evening all, I'm in need of a new spring for my ohlins shock as I've lost a fair amount of weight so now, even with the preload wound right off, its still too firm. The question I have is, what number of the three printed on the spring relates to the weighting and what does it represent...

Anyone recommend a dyno centre near Essex

Evening all, Been out and about today and noticed that she's a little lumpy/snatchy at town speeds. Can anyone recommend a dyno centre in/near Essex? I was thinking about HM over in Kent or race engineering in Dunmo. Unless anyone else can think of another DD

Oh for goodness sake - why ABS?

So I'm desperately trying to bleed the new lines in with out much luck. Turns out that with the abs system you need to complete a "gs-911" test using a diagnostic tool, which opens and closes the servo switches while you do it. It's not really an issue when just changing the fluid as you are...

    PCV / Autotune quick question.

I've got a Pcv and autotune on the bike along with a toggle switch to flip between using the saved map and learn settings. The question is, how do I work out whether the switch is on or off? Is there a light on the module that comes on when it's learning? DD

Just back from the London motorcycle show....

Very disappointing. Loads of stalls selling the same kack Johnny Ped buys down the market and no real, what we would call, decent offerings. The only stands to note were Austin Racing and Bmw showing off the HP4's Waste of £20 IMHO

Stop the press ... What's are ohlins fgrt811 worth used?

So I have an opportunity to buy a pair of the gold forks, only they are the older 811 version - these are being phased out for the 202 which is what I had planned on splashing for. So the questions are, a) what's a good price for them; and b) should I hold out for the newer ones? Answers on a...

    Titanium suppliers ?

Hi all, looking to replace a selection of bolts around the front wheel (below fork seal) area to reduce the rotational mass. Can anyone recommend a trusted supplier? DD

There is only one thing that can match the joy of new bike parts.....

    What brake lines?

So having now got my hands on the front braking system for a Panigale, I now need to get some brake lines made up (banjo is just a fraction out). The question is, which ones to go for? For non standard stuff, I've used venhill in the past, but am more than happy to hear other suggestions...

    Which master cylinder....

Well, sort of. In preporation for fitting new calipers, I'm looking at a new M/C as well. So I'm not looking for opinions on branding or size, what I'm looking for is confirmation that regardless of brand/size the ABS will continue to work as normal - providing of course the bleeding process...

Evening all, I'm about to head off into the garage to fit my new shock befor she puts te bloody x-factor on :-\ :'( :o Has anyone come across any fitting instructions - particularly torque setting etc. Also, what's the base setting for the shock so I can check them before I fit it on? Thanks...

    Which air filter??

So I'm going for the PCV and full system over the winter break, but what air filter should I go for? There are any different makes but what suits the beemer best, BMC, K&N OR Pipercross?

    White wheels...

So I need to get some new tyres over the winter and I've been thinking that while it's laid up, and while the boots are off, I could get the wheels powder coated at the same time. Has anyone done it... white wheels on a Motor Sport that is? Pictures?
