I have a full set of road fairings in black for sale for a Gen 3. The right hand side has a bit of gravel rash and a couple of items have a little crack in them but nothing major.

We're staying just outside Fort William at a house we rented last year, then we'll tour off in different directions everyday. I think we'll be doing a short loop down to the green wheelie then over to Oban and back up the coast on the Sunday. Then the rest of the week we will chase the sunshine :-)

I had this on my 2010 bike. I contacted BMW motorrad and the dealer and sent a 60 page forum link that about the problem and that it was a well known issue. BMW replaced both cams and followers F.O.C. and 50% labour.

Update. Well after a few emails both BMW and the dealer have resolved the issue. Replacement camshaft s and rockers the whole lot free of charge. The only thing I am having to pay for is an oil change. Very happy and no sulking to be seen anywhere :-D

Totally in agreement the dealer is saying nothing about cost. But what can I do, the bike is stripped and BMW are saying nothing about contributing at all. They can have the chuffing bike back for all I care at the moment. I need to document as many of these failures as possible and then kick...

The story so far. The dealer has had the bike nearly 2 weeks and have received a replacement camshaft, notice the singular. They are replacing only 1 with so far no word to whether BMW will contribute.
