Thanks for that I have now cleared the lap display-back to normal. I must have set it when fuelling and resetting trip display.

When I turn ignition on the sport mode shows. Then when I start bike the cluster displays a flashing lap number in the top left corner. I changed mode to rain but still the same! I assume a lap number shouldn't be showing for normal road use.

Thanks for info. I believe bar end weights have already been replaced for heavier r &g ones. The bike is being checked over so hopefully the cause can be found.

Thanks for information regarding pillion and buying tips. The bikes that I have enquired about so far seem to have had some track use. I suppose this is to be expected but should it put me off buying them?
