    Leaky forks?

Dealer confirmed what many of you said before. It's factory grease and that leaks out when hot. Absolutely normal with new BMW machines and it will stop after a while.

    Ordered my Gen 4 today

If you can afford it I'd go with the M Sport, but if the budget is a bit tight, the Sport will probably still outperform you, just like 99.5% of us.

    Gen4 Bluetooth Issues

Either that or BMW uses old technology, which wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest considering my BMW connected app says my first service is due in 30 kilometers or on 01/01/2012. This is my second M Sport with the same issue so I somehow doubt it’s a faulty unit. Disabling wifi fixed my...

    Gen4 Bluetooth Issues

I don’t know whether my assumption of Wifi and bluetooth interfering with one another is accurate or not. But my earphones are 100% not crap. I’ve had the same issue with Powerbeats Pro, BeatsX, Sennheiser and my Sena 30K and it’s working flawlessly now that my wifi is disabled and that’s a fact.

    Gen4 Bluetooth Issues

My phone is connected to my bike and the bike is connected to my Sena so that I can play music and control it with the multi control on the bike, make phone calls etc The bluetooth Connection between my bike and Sena was atrocious right from the start. It was actually not usable because the...

    Leaky forks?

Thanks guys. I did clean it off a few days ago, but it reappeared. Just wanted to check in with people on this board before I harass my dealer. I suppose I can mention it at my 1000km break in service.

    I have rejected my bike

I have an update! The swap has been approved by BMW HQ and BMW UK and I'll be able to collect my new bike on Monday. The 'old' one will be shipped back to Germany and there it will meet its maker. Apparently they are going to strip it to see what caused the issues.

Fitting a Sat Nav to a Gen 4

Fitting a Sat Nav to a Gen 4

It does not have sockets. You can easily buy an Oxford 12v socket though and hook it up directly to the battery which is what I have done.

    I have rejected my bike

Exactly. Was a wonder I stayed on that thing. Dealer also doesn't understand that it's not personal at all. He's a sound guy.. I could easily rip him a second one between 9 and 5 and then have some pints with him after 5, but I think he's taking the whole thing a bit too personal.

    I have rejected my bike

I know. I do want a Gen4 that doesn't slap me with this at 270km/h and 30 degree lean angle on the Autobahn followed by a full engine cut off though. If it was just minor issues I wouldn't be throwing a sissy fit, but this bike does dangerous ****.
