I've seen that washer and doubt it's got to do with tolerances, but with, as you mentioned earlier, lack of owner reports. I guess a good few people put the neutral issues down to it being a BMW or it not being run in etc...but as soon as people start complaining it will probably become standard...

Alright lads, BMW have revised the oil capacity for the Gen4. Your owners manual says 4.5 liters with filter, which is 4 liters with filter now.

He was right. There has been a repair issued, my dealer told me this morning. I've created a new thread on the Gen4 board.

BMW have issued a fix for this. Best to contact your dealers about this.

Re: Need a favor (Gen4 owners) Parked my bike at the dealer this morning and politely asked to not call me until it's fixed. They did acknowledge the clonking and confirmed it's not the disks though. Will keep you guys updated.

Re: Need a favor (Gen4 owners) No. My dealer returned my bike with 'there is no clonking. everything is in order'. Unfortunately, I can't just quickly go to another dealer. There's only two in ROI and the other one is a 3.5 hour ride away :/

It doesn't really improve with time. Had 9000 km on my first M Sport and finding neutral was still a bitch. You just gonna have to get used to it. 2 to N is easier than 1 to N btw.

Can you guys please test something for me? Sit on the bike with ignition off, straight handle bars, handful of front brake and then rock the bike back and forth... do you hear a clicking from the fork area?
