I can only confirm soofsayer's post. My bike melts my face if I pin the throttle in a low enough gear and 9k RPM is reached before I can say 'R1M'.

This is actually a serious one. At least two reported incidents in Germany. Oil hose wasn't crimped correctly and started pissing oil all over the rear tire. One bike was even outside the time frame declared in the official recall. Good on your dealer for checking this one.

M seat isn't too bad either. I don't feel the pain anymore... :)

Akra full system does NOT void your warranty per default. If your engine blows up and BMW can PROVE that the engine blew because of the Akra, then there will be no warranty, but it's the same with everything. If your engine blows and BMW can prove that it blew because of your slip on... then...

I am bringing my M Sport in for the 'neutral fix' as well now. Shifting and hitting neutral is becoming progressively harder.

Correct. That being said, I've never heard of orders placed after 2018 that were eligible for this offer.

The Gen4 brakes are more progressive than the Brembos alright, but they do work exceptionally well. You almost overshooting the roundabout .. well without wanting to step on your toes.. but you should have made yourself familiar with the bike and how it behaves before twisting the throttle...

Gen3 oil capacities are irrelevant when it comes to the Gen4, no? The Gen4 manual comes with 4.5 liters and BMW have lowered that to 4 liters and I’ve posted it here so that people that do their own oil changes, know about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
