10A fuse keeps blowing (blank dash)

Hi all, The 10A fuse keeps blowing (cannot be reproduced on command, but I'm on my 4th 10A fuse at this point in time) and the dash goes blank but you can hear the fuel pump and start the bike. Dealer apparently pulled it apart (tank off, etc) and couldn't find any rubbing/chaffing on the loom...

    Removing gunk from underneath bike?

What about a general degreaser, then hose off?

    Akra exhaust

I put the HP slip-on on my 2016 with stock headers and it sounds fantastic and looks great imo, and was enough for me as I don?t have to worry about tuning or fuel controllers etc. If you don?t need to put on a full system, one of the Akra slip-ons might be enough? There?s at least 3 designs...

    Anthony Bourdain

Is that the book he wrote that kind of started everything for him? I saw a few quotes about a book but don?t know if he?s written 1 or many... Is that?s the one, sounds like it would be worth a read for sure (apparently written with other chefs as the intended audience)

    Anthony Bourdain

I'd only seen a few episodes of his travelling food tv show, and he seemed like a real gent and loved what he did. Great presenter, engaging and enjoyable to watch. Such a shame. RIP.

Battery cactus - 2 years and 12 days

FWIW I bought a new battery myself as BMW Australia wanted me to take bike to dealer for diagnosis before they would comment further, which would have meant time off work to wait for either tow truck or roadside assistance to jump start and then ride bike in, leave it there or wait and get back...

    Reset your QS

Recently had to replace battery and I reset the quick shifter while I was at it following the info contained on here as it was pretty rough and lost a bit of confidence in using it when pushing on a bit (change up gears with clutch and keep it in each gear for at least 10 seconds), and fcuk me...

    Shopping for suspension

Apparently Wilbers make a rear shock compatible with DDC, as well as front fork cartridges (or maybe it was just the fork springs - memory foggy). This is what I?ve been told by a couple suspension places here who I?ve called to query suspension work (they both heavily advised against just...

Battery cactus - 2 years and 12 days

Has anyone had their battery die (voltage ok but won?t turn over the bike) just after warranty expiration and have had it replaced by BMW at no cost? I?m in Australia so we only have 2 year warranty and don?t get the extended warranty you guys have the option for. For the record, I?ve spoken...

    Differences

The 17/18 also has a higher output alternator, which I dare say will mean no dash/lights/electrical issues for the current model

    Gen 2 display going blank

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere unfortunately. If everything on the dash stays powered on bar that right-hand screen it won?t be the fuse, but could be worth a look as it?s an easy thing to check...

MRA screen fitment issues (2016 S1000RR)

Cheers Alex, good to know it should fit :P I did try and move it around when all the screws were loose, but it was pretty snug and didn't have much give in it (screen and fairings) and didn't want to push too much...but maybe I do need to loosen it all off again and be a bit more...

    Ergonomics help please

I'm shorter than you (5'10" or so) and generally find the bike fine to ride (when I remember to stop leaning on my wrists!). Have you come from a non-sportsbike? If I haven't ridden in a quite a while, after a spirited ride my hips can be sore due to the way we have to sit and hold on to these...
