The dealer advised to put front wheel against a solid object such as a wall and rock bike forwards to test headset, I had no clicking then. May be movement in the brake pads is the general feeling
Saw another set like these and was tempted but they?re discontinued now so no guarantee you?ll be able to get spares if you need them. If they were cheaper I would take the risk but not at same price you pay for any of the other rearsets available
Thanks oli will do, meanwhile these photos show the incorrect fitment of the dust seal
first picture is the rear of the fork tube where the seal is flush with tube
second you see it?s not sitting flush and actually has damage to it
When the fork compresses the for stanchion has an oil film left side seems fine, is this an oil seal issue dealer said normal but not from my experience
After having done a few trips now, When holding front brakes and rocking the bike backwards and forwards there?s an audible clicking noise and can feel through the yoke and handle bars.
are headset bearings a weak point on the gen 3?
Does the dash brightness vary when it starts to get dark.
Riding home this evening it wasn?t quite dark and the dash seemed to be lit sometimes and not others
