Doesn't the M have shorter service intervals than the S, and require a rings and bearings refresh a lot earlier too. For use on the road, it seems like pointless willy waving to me. Just like a Ducati R.

Is there room under the seat for the cans to pump it up. The bike has warranty/recovery on it, so I suppose I could wait for that if I got a puncture.

I haven't had a puncture for years, never used the temporary roadside tyre weld either. Would that stuff damage the tyre pressure monitors?

Are the wings adjustable, there's a school of thought that suggests downforce mid corner makes the bike understeer.

The BMW rad guards for my last bike were less than £50, I'm wondering if the rads actually need protecting and if anyone has ever holed one?

The Optimate charger I have is suitable for lithium, according to the box it came in. On my old Pani 1299 the battery charge could be checked on the dash.

My 22 RR didn't have a lithium battery, I used to connect an optimate to top it up every month from Nov-March. My 24 RR does have a lithium battery, can I do the same with the optimate, or should I just disconnect the battery over winter?

Rosso Corsa 4 is the latest version I've used, IMO it has more grip than the S22. The electronics on the 2024 S1000RR are more advanced than my old 22 RR, so perhaps I don't need more grip than the S22 has. I don't really want to find out the expensive way.

Done 560 miles on it now, so finished riding it this year. Looking forward to getting it serviced and unlocked over the winter. Ready for weather permitting, March next year.

It was between another brand new 1000RR or a 2016 Panigale R. I really fancied another Ducati, but ultimately didn't want to be on my own if it broke down or went bang. So it doesn't make sense for me to give BMW any cause to decline a warranty claim.

And another thing, revving to 2k every time it's started, even when it's hot. What's the point of that?
