From 1 March 2022 back protectors will become essential for those wishing to ride on track, in the same way that front brake lever guards are required for your pride and joy, we believe you should ride with the best available equipment to reduce the risks of serious injury if an accident were to...
I run my bike with a set of the chinese road fairings so I can use it in a similar way to you - I've tried SBS RS, DC, DS, EBC GPFAX, PF 95 and OE since I've had the bike.........OE would be my first choice for a road and track mix.
I run either "mid pack / towards the front depending on the day" in the advanced group and I find the OE set up - when run in "slick" ABS mode - fine for my pace. I'm trying SBS DS pads at the moment simply as go through a set of OE pads in 3 track days. Seeing as the pads are so easy to change...

I kept my Panny Plasma until it died as the picture was superb ........ would have bought another if they were still available as they dealt with sport so well. The Panny OLED that replaced it is pretty good though.
and if he's serious about only using VR46 riders in the main class then it might be a while before he gets even a podium unless he signs Frankie from Yamaha.
