    Ergonomics help please

Most rearsets generally give about 10mm in each direction which many people do find enough so worth finding out before you buy, but if you really want to take the p**s then GiaMoto do a comfort kit (basically metal plate extension) to take to a total of 25mm. Obviously you?ll have to take this...

    Sports bike specific textiles

I really like my Halversons, so I?d give them a recommendation... done miles in mine in a storm and kept me warm and dry. Just don?t get them near a hot exhaust... but I guess that applies to any textile!

    Muc off

It?s as good an excuse as any for bike parts.... [emoji3]

    Muc off

Nope, but thinking I should have! I really need a lift as well I think to be able to get underneath the thing properly..... failing that I?ll just take it back to year round biker again and get him to do it! 🤣

Is this snow foam any good? Ive got a bit of OCD about my rear shock, I ride in all weathers and as you all know it?s a bugger to get clean up there. I?ve got a karcher with the little foamy attachment and if the snow foam is any good I?ll give it a go. Any other tips or tricks for a clean shock...

    Driving to Holyhead via Birmingham

Yep. I live just North of Birmingham and the M6 at rush hour just is not worth the risk. Occasionally you might be alright (half term for example), but one little bump somewhere and the whole thing tails back for miles. The toll is half the price of cars for bikes... i think its ?3, and you will...

Nice one Jay! Does that come off OK too do you know when summer arrives, or will it end up welded and leaving marks?

    Textile repair

Unbelievable... so first things first... Jimmy great recommendation on LSR. Fantastic job! Now for the bad news. Only got them back last week... Been out again today for a blast to the beach and dragging a leg slightly away from some lights and felt a touch. F**k me I?ve only gone and done it...

    Security

If it?s an ?up and over? garage door they are useless. It?s a fine line between adding additional locks and advertising to the world that you have something in there worth stealing but a pair of discreet deadbolts at each bottom corner makes it much more difficult to pop the door lock in the...

    Rapidbike race vs evo

You might have flattened the battery while you?ve been playing around. My DTC went mad constantly clicking too when my battery ran low.

    2018 s100rr

That?s interesting. I had my bike done at ?year round biker? with full detail and ACF misting, but they do also offer XCP instead and they?ll tell you that?s better (and charge more for it). Glad I went for ACF.

That?s about bang on I think for a set of Halverssons if you shop around and I loved mine.... worth trying.

    Electrical capacity

As I bolt more and more on (mainly heated gear at this time of year) I?m trying to figure out how much spare power there is. As far as I can find out current model alternators output 406w, but pre ?17 only 350w. Question is, what overheads does the bike have in injectors, DDC, headlights, grips...

    Ear Defenders

I?ve tried all sorts over the years... I eventually had custom made ones that were really good (as you?d expect being moulded for my ears) but they were pricy and when I got an intercom I discovered they were too good. Since then I?ve just reverted to Auritechs which do the job for me. I hear...

    Hi from the Netherlands.

Don?t get me wrong, I?m very glad I have them and for sure it?s saved my ass too, but I was just surprised to see such blatant disregard for any pretence at feeling where the edge was... simply wacking the throttle open and allowing the bike to tidy it up...

    Hi from the Netherlands.

I must confess I?m surprised. Do many people here lean on the electronics to that extent?? His TC light is never bloody off. I dont profess to be the fastest rider ever by any means but neither do I hang about. Maybe I was just bought up on bikes where that would eventually get you spat off so...

    Textile repair

Thanks guys! Most useful and I?ll email them later. Right now I?m still in the garage with a tube of Autosol and lots of elbow grease trying to get the melted mess from that hole off my exhaust. Think I need a stronger right wrist!
