You don?t have to give the access. Doing so allows shortcuts to navigate to friends etc, but it?s not a requirement to give the access. I?m sure there are better pure navigation apps to be honest, but I like the security of knowing that if there is a mobile camera around the corner, the chances...

I cant vouch for the ?best?, but I do use Waze.... mainly for those all important speed camera and mobile van alerts through my headset. It does an adequate job considering it?s free and it?s those alerts that are important to me.

Quick update... call from Pidcock?s today and mine is the same deal. Coded parts required from factory so I?m without until Thursday. In the meantime they?ve learnt me a GS. Sounds like a fairly common issue then with more examples appearing...
