Personally I’d check the fuel first. I’ve had any of my bikes do that when they’ve sat over winter. Modern fuel goes off fairly quickly. 12 months and it’s unrideable.

One thing to bear in mind that some of the increase is due to electric cars. They are so expensive to repair and even a tiny amount of damage to the battery will write the car off even when new. They have put insurance for electric cars up to the limit the market will take and they are recouping...

The guy at RPM is always happy to send it through with a low value ie around $100. Most companies are if you ask. I’ve only once been refused by an American company. RPM Stuff is lovely.

Alex, I’ve found after doing loads of full exhaust systems on all makes that it’s always better to build the complete exhaust off the bike and then use a scissor jack (pictured) under the exhaust and you can easily raise the complete exhaust into the exact height/position and easily Align pipes...
