I'm trying to fix the mirror on the 2020 S1R (old shape). The right hand OEM stalk mirror was dislodged, and it now flaps about when I am riding. When you pull up the rubber cover you see two nuts, as per pic, which need to be adjusted. They look like they should separate, with the bottom one clamping down on the handlebar assembly and the top one presumably holding the mirror in the right place?

I had tried to use ever increasing force to separate the nuts. so far with no success. I can't find a YT video on the subject, not really interested in bar end mirrors. Can anyone confirm how the assembly works and how to fix it?

Cheers

They do... eventually... took way more persuasion (and wd40) than expected though. Next trick is to make the b*****d lock tight again, now everything's where it should be.
