Thanks. It is very close of stalling but doesn't stall after the software update. Before the update it sounded otherwise the same but stalled on the first pop :D I was considering the stubby on (CR-T) but it looks too small considering what a huge thing the exhaust is with the cats. Also...

Well... it wasn't that easy. The hesitation and almost dying sounds only as pops on the video, should make a video where the camera is close to the engine instead of exhaust. But what is audible is that it takes 10 seconds for the bike to increase the revs where as before it did it immediately...

Yeah and the slip on went on a month ago, no problems at all before last week which is weird. Only thing that changed is outside temperature, it's warmer now than what it was before.

Still the same, doesn't die but starts with pops and bangs :D not optimal, but at least won't die anymore

And actually today I tested at around 60mph in 6th gear where the whining noise is not yet there normally to accelerate and the whining noise appeared on the revs where it usually doesn't. Now I'm thinking whether it could be the engine at low rpm on higher speed where there are more air...

Thanks for the suggestions. I have done around 2500 miles on the bike and the whine has been there from day one. Oil is halfway on the "window" so there is enough oil. I do regularly clean and oil the chain and it's not dependent on how long it has been from the last oiling of the chain either...

I've had couple of violent quick shifts but I have but those on my own account of being stupid with changing gears :D I cannot remember why but that was what I thought at the moment

I can definitely hear it as it disappears when changing to 5th gear and the bike doesn't make the noise on any other gear at that rpm range. What else could it be than the gearbox? Another thing to ask from the dealer :D

Hi guys, do you get a noticeable whine from gearbox in 6th gear doing 70-75ish mph? I know that the straight cut gears can make noise but just to check if it's normal.

Yesterday bike started up with some hesitation and almost died but picked up revs pretty quickly... maybe it just needs couple of cold starts to learn after the software update. Let's see how it continues to behave.

Thanks for the info, have to call the dealer on monday and ask about it.

They said that there was couple of updates to install so I guess they instakked everything that was available. I didn't notice any difference in cold startup before vs after the update.

That update didn't fix the problem on my bike.... annoying.
