The rear cowl is a doodle to refit if you fit it at a 30 odd degrees angle from upright and rotate it down in one go. Same with removal - rotate up to 30 degrees before removing. Hope that helps :-)

Did you get the fitting kit too? Its 6 brackets but you only use 2 at the bottom of the frame if you're using factory side fairings. No need to make more holes as it sits over the original rad shroud 'V' piece, a good snug fit. I've got the same Ilmberger belly pan and it sits more than 1cm...
