I acted as signatory for my mate earlier in the year when he renewed his - agreed Stuart that it's a pretty involved form. I also got a phone call from the Police about 2 weeks after he submitted the renewal - it was basically a full on interview from the Police, making sure that I understood...
Stopped for fuel in Fort William - noticed this, still had 110 miles to get home.......it was significantly worse by then :concern:
Funny how it was localised to that one spot, although TBH, I should have replaced before I went away for that trip !
I just cut the cable on mine and used crimped bullet connectors - I didn't bother soldering but these solder sleeves that Stuart uses look brilliant - I'd use these the next time. If the number plate light assembly doesn't work first time then you need to swap the connections round as it's an...
I personally agree with your comments - I found the K3 to be a great tyre both on road and track - I don't run them any where near the OEM recommended pressures on the road and I have great grip and feel. I tried a set of M7RR last year and the front end felt terrible compared to the K3's. I...
I've had two sets on my bike and thought they were a great tyre........out of interest what did you find wrong with them ? Just finished a set of Michelin Power RS that have been discontinued apparently so will go back to either Supercorsa SP or K3
I think you've got the front pressures pretty much spot on but the rear a touch too high.........
Have a butchers at this link for some guidance on wear:

Stuart - The pressures you quote at the beginning of this thread for the rear are higher than the recommended guide (the updated one that you just posted) - that's what I meant in my earlier post....

I think you may be running the pressures a bit on the high side - see above link
All great roads - Inverary to Dalmally exceptionally good.
Also, do the loop from Arrochar / Inverary / Lochgilphead / Oban / Connel Bridge / Glencoe / Tyndrum / Dalmally / Inverary / Arrochar - if you get dry roads you'll love it.
Interestingly...?.I contacted my local bike shop to order a new rear Michelin Power RS only to be told that they are no longer making the Power RS and that it's been replaced with the Power 5 - I queried this and they contacted their Michelin rep who confirmed that to be the case - the Power 5...
