Well done, have they give you a rough timescale on delivery? I remember having to wait 6 months for my HP4 but it went in a flash.

Well done, honestly don't think i will ever buy a brand spanker as i'm too impatient to wait for the delivery and the time it takes to run in. Think the newest i'll ever go for is an ex demo.

With 17% discount on offer, it would be a shame not to. I also hope that the run in is done before my trip to France and Germany in the first week in July for 8 nights... Black Forrest, Alsace Mountains, Mosselle Valley and a trip around Nurbergring to break my duck ..... I hope to receive an email from BMW on Monday... They should have a date in return... Like you said, this is the hard bit... Delivery will be at the BMW pickup plant in Oxford..

I'm genuinely happy for you that you have managed to make a great saving on your new bike but I'm not sure I would have posted it on a public forum.
I'm sure that BMW dont want their staff discounts for all to see?
It won't take much work to find out who ordered a black red sport model being picked up from their Oxford plant in the next few weeks.
They can confirm who the staff member is as they will be also placing an order for a full exhaust system.
I wouldn't want anyone's fingers wrapped if someone was doing me a turn.

The email says end of April / Early May....

The bike goes on the production line on Thursday (24th).. Once it is built, I will get another email to say when it will be delivered to the UK and ready to pick her up !
