I personally don?t envy people living in London, I work in Canary Wharf but live in the Midlands. Before this lockdown I was in CW twice a week and then other days in my outside of London office combined with WFH. That for me is enough of London. I have family spread all over London and whenever we visit, parking is an issue and traffic horrendous. Only one member of my family has a proper drive and that?s because they live in huge house in Loughton, swimming pool and the works. I have colleagues who want to move out of London but then at the same time I have colleagues who love the buzz of London and city life. So horses for courses really.

If you want good roads it can take an hour to get to any from Camden/Central London, I would never live inside the M25 ring.
